MARYLAND STUDENT ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
New Member Training for fall 2007


On October 23rd and 24th, 2007 the Maryland Student Assistance Program Professionals Association (MSAPPA) will be conducting a state-wide Student Assistance training for new members and teams at the Grand Masonic Lodge in Cockeysville MD. This 2-day training event will begin on day one with continental breakfast starting at 8:30a.m. and will be followed by formal training presentations beginning at 9:00a.m. Day two will begin at 8:00a.m. Lunch will be provided on both days. I83 N to exit 20A Shawan Road east to the 1st light McCormick Rd.Turn left on McCormick Rd and go one block to International Circle Turn left on International Circle and proceed around the curve to the entrance gates to the Maryland Masonic Homes / Bonnie Blink (on right) – proceed up the hill – take the first left – Grand Lodge Ballroom on the right


Winter training will be conducted on March 4th and 5th 2008. The snow date is March 6, 2008. The leadership Symposium will be held on April 16, 2008.

From Baltimore and Vicinity:

Take Rt.97/Rt.3 SOUTH to exit 7 (exit 7 becomes Rt.3 south).

Travel South on Rt. 3 and look for these landmarks on the LEFT: Wendy's, Long Fence Co., and McDonalds.

Turn LEFT onto Carver Rd. between Long Fence and McDonalds.

Cross the Northbound Lane of Rt. 3 to Carver Rd.

Carver Center is at the top of the hill.

From Annapolis:

Take Rt. 50 West to Rt. 97

Exit at Rts. 3 and 32 (about 8 miles)

Take first exit marked Rt. 3 SOUTH

Travel South on Rt. 3 and look for these landmarks on the LEFT: Wendy's, Long Fence Co., and McDonalds

Turn LEFT onto Carver Rd. between Long Fence and McDonalds

Cross the Northbound Lane of Rt. 3 to Carver Rd.

Carver Center is at the top of the hill

From Washington:

Take Rt. 50 east to Rt. 3 NORTH

Travel North on Rt. 3; you will pass Rt. 450 and Rt. 424

After Rt. 424 you will pass a Giant Food on the right

Turn RIGHT onto Carver Road (next right)

Carver Center is at the top of the hill
